Preparing to Tow

Follow the steps for safe and enjoyable caravanning.

  1. Fit the appropriate towbar to suit your caravan.
  2. Fit an electric brake controller to your vehicle.
  3. Fit an auxiliary wire to your vehicle to run the caravan refrigerator.
  4. Fit and Andersen Plug or Charge Circuit.
  5. Fit a weight distributing hitch.
  6. Fit a Hayman Reese friction sway control.
  7. Fit suitable towing mirrors.
  8. Ensure Hardings have checked and road-tested the rig with you.
  9. Relax and enjoy your holiday.
